Our Kickstart Program follows a rigorous and proven methodology and is broken up into three phases as illustrated in this diagram.

Stakeholder Identification is a vital step in ensuring the success of the overall Kickstart engagement because it relies heavily on the participants having the right combination of knowledge of the existing processes and infrastructure as well as executive decision-making authority. We will work with you to help identify the people in your organization and solicit their participation and sponsorship for the Identity Management program.
Another preparatory step is the Scoping Session, where we will work with you to define the scope and boundaries of your Identity Management program. A key part of this step is the use of a PUT Chart (Processes, Users, and Technologies), an Identropy-developed tool that will help you identify the user populations and technologies in your environment, and aggregate them into correlation sets that are tied together by a business process (e.g. User Onboarding, Contractor Termination, etc.)
In parallel, Identropy will also work with you to schedule team and individual sessions with all of the stakeholders for workshops and interviews designed to unearth requirements, priorities, and pain points.
The on-site portion of the engagement begins with the Kickoff. This is a joint workshop involving all of the stakeholders and is used to define the agenda and objectives for the Kickstart engagement. Our consultants have experience and expertise in facilitating these sessions to ensure that everyone stays on the same page while still expressing their point of view.
Following the Kickoff, the Identropy team will meet with you and the other stakeholders for breakout sessions and detailed business and technical interviews. The objective of this step is to get a sufficiently large sample size from which to extrapolate your company’s Identity Management requirements. These sessions are also vital in triangulating and validating the information collected during the preparation phase regarding your organization’s identity stores, target systems, and business processes.
After the interviews have been concluded, the Identropy team will spend time deeply analyzing the findings and synthesizing them into an optimal IAM Roadmap, that is tailored to your priorities, requirements, existing infrastructure, and budgetary and timeline constraints. In addition, we will also provide you with a detailed Implementation Plan for executing on the roadmap. This plan will serve as a blueprint for you to move forward with your IAM Program and is designed to be used by whomever is implementing the project, whether it be your own IT team, Identropy, or another consulting firm.
The final step of the Kickstart engagement is Final Presentation of our findings to the stakeholders and executive sponsor(s) and the turnover of all the final deliverables including the Roadmap and the Implementation Plan.
